Pan American (Conn Built)1938 Elkhart Cornet - Used

500.00

This is a used Pan American cornet.  Serial #136983 indicates it was built in approximately 1938.  Satin silver plated finish is in good condition for its age, and the gold wash bell interior looks very nice.  There are very minor dings throughout, but overall the cornet is in good condition for it's age.  Features include a very unique dual 1st tuning slide configuration, main tuning slide stop rod and unique bracing.  The bell engraving includes the Pan American name, a globe and an eagle.

The instrument just received our Ultrasonic Flush & Clean, Synthetic Valve Alignment, new valve springs, new water key pads, hand polishing and complete air-leak test.  The valves' nickel plating is immaculate and all valves/slides work well.  Includes very cool art deco EZ-Tone mouthpiece (which does have some scratches/light gouges in the rim/cup), lyre, and hardshell case.
