This is a vintage King 2-B SILVERTONE tenor trombone that we are selling on consignment. The Serial #272173 indicates it was built in 1945 and it features a Sterling silver bell with gold washed flare interior. The lacquered finish shows wear throughout (consistent with its age) and is approximately 75% intact. It just received our Ultrasonic cleaning and is ready to go. The handslide had some previous dent removal evidence on the inner tubes and we cleaned that up as much as possible to improve the handslide action.
Includes the original King M21 mouthpiece, a Vincent Bach Corp. 9 mouthpiece and an aftermarket hardshell case (which is in good functioning condition).
