Bach 22 Tuba/Sousapone Mouthpiece

Bach’s legacy of superb mouthpieces is continued by the model 22 tuba mouthpiece. The 22 is slightly smaller than the model 18 mouthpiece. The condensed design encourages proper embouchure development, which is why Sweetwater frequently recommends the 22 to students and schools. Model 22 mouthpieces have a medium cup depth, a 31.60-millimeter cup diameter, and a medium wide rim shape for high performance and comfort. This mouthpiece also has a smaller backbore than a standard 18, which adds a comfortable resistance. We think of the Bach 22 tuba mouthpiece as an excellent second mouthpiece for the advancing player in need of added performance.
