This is a vintage Gretsch Commander tenor saxophone that we are selling on consignment. The Serial number is #17006. This tenor received our Complete Repad & Mechanical Overhaul with gold plated Maestro resonators a few years back. It just went through our shop and is playing great and the materials are still in good condition. The silver plated finish is approximately 65% intact with most of the plating wear on the keywork and common touch areas. The neck shows some plating wear but is in good condition otherwise. The neck brace (near the tenon) has been resoldered. The lyre holder near the socket has been removed. The body brace (body tube side) has been resoldered.
Includes a newer ProTec XL contoured hardshell case, which is in good condition. Does not include a mouthpiece.
